Velebit Camp

Camp Velebit is located in the small village of Baška Oštarija on the top of Velebit.

It is surrounded by mountain peaks that reveal a view of the Adriatic islands. It is decorated in a fairy-tale style that draws its inspiration from old folk traditions. It is pointed out by Crobbiton; a small settlement in the middle of the camp made of dugouts where you can stay. Outdoor and indoor kitchens, a large grill and a campfire are available to guests.

The family hosting the camp will treat you to various local specialties. During the season, various interesting events take place here, from festivals to scout camps for children. The special feature of this place is the environment and facilities, since it is located in the middle of the Velebit Nature Park. A panoramic road with an altitude of 927m will take you to the sea in just 20 minutes. Numerous hiking trails and climbing areas are available nearby, and you can meet shepherds, sheep, horses and cows in the surrounding pastures. A unique place to experience the mountain and the sea in one day.
