The first round of educational workshops for the IQM Destination LIKA project was held
Cluster Lika Destination in cooperation with Plitvice Lakes National Park and Fell IQM held the first round of educational workshops within the IQM Destination LIKA Integrated Quality Management Project.
Four workshops were held from 11 to 14 February, attended by 100 people from Lika's destination. The workshops were held in four locations in Rakovica, Gospić, Otočac and Karlobag.
At these workshops, all interested potential partners could find out the details of the purpose and purpose of the IQM project, their tasks during the project's participation as well as the final results that the project is pursuing to achieve. Ms. Đurđica Šimičić, director of Feel IQM, emphasized that "By improving the quality, following the trends in tourism with respect to the indigenous values of the Lika destina- tion, we want to achieve the synergic effect of networking and fostering the partners in the destination for excellence in business. Accepting IQM Destination Lika's quality standards by residents and partners confirms the need for a new pass in the tourism destination of Lika ".
The next step in the project is the individual visits of experts to all registered partners and an opportunity talk, and tips to boost the excellence and balance of an individual facility in order to improve the excellence and quality of the complete Lika destination. After the visit follows the signing phase of the contract with everyone who meets the basic project criteria (primarily business quality fulfilled at least 80%).
Through this project, a measurable system of quality of service quality will be established in the destination, where through the individual education of the stakeholders themselves will raise the present level of quality in the destination which will make Lika's destination recognizable on the tourist market. The implementation of this project will improve the level of quality of service and supply.
