FROM NOW ON, LIKA QUALITY ALSO PRODUCES ON JADROLINIJA'S INTERNATIONAL LINES
How to bring the products of small local producers closer to the international market, ie consumers who are not from Croatia? One of the possible answers is the offer of such products to foreign guests, who visit Croatia during the tourist season.
Products with label Lika Quality they are increasingly in demand in the international market. After the Lika destination was included in the list of TOP 100 world green sustainable destinations thanks to the implementation of the regional quality system of food, drinks and souvenirs - Lika Quality, the Lika Quality system was presented at the popular tourist fair in Berlin.
But the expansion of Lika Quality products to international markets did not stop there. Cluster Lika Destination and Agricultural Cooperative Lika Coop have established cooperation with the company for liner shipping of passengers and cargo - Jadrolinija Rijeka.
During 2021, Jadrolinija set up sales shelves on its international ferry lines with local products from Croatia, including products with the Lika Quality label. So it will be on three big ferries: Marco Polo who rides on the route Split - Ancona, Dubrovnik driving on the route Dubrovnik - Bari and Zadar driving on the route Zadar - Ancona sell even six products with the Lika Quality label.
Lika hat and Lika bag from the manufacturer Gačanka Otočac, Lika bear Likota and Lika sheep Pramenka from the association Mini Lika, dried lavender flower from the craft for jewelry production and agriculture "Ajda" and unique wooden utensils from the craft for production and trade "Golac".
Jadrolinija's white fleet per year transports over 12 million passengers and three million vehicles, which is over 80% of the annual number of all transported passengers and vehicles in the maritime transport of the Republic of Croatia.
This is an ideal opportunity for the products of small local producers to be presented on the international market, and tourists and passengers of these international lines are introduced to quality and unique products whose purchase will forever bring a touch of Lika and Croatia in general.
