- This was a great and pleasant evening and to hear how much good you did because this year in tourism was both impressive and record breaking in some segments and with an expected 14 billion euros in revenue. And the fact that the Days of Croatian Tourism are being held in November for the first time this year also speaks volumes about the good postseason, after a good main and excellent preseason, the best so far, pointed out the Prime Minister of the Republic of Croatia, Andrej Plenković. Prime Minister Andrej Plenković said that a new law on tourism is coming, which many countries around the world want to follow. He congratulated Minister Nikolina Brnjac and her team on their good work and sustainable guidelines for the future of tourism.
By the way, Karlovac County has positioned itself as the most visited continental county, after the City of Zagreb, and these results do not happen by chance. This is the result of the systematic and continuous work of all stakeholders in the system, which is aimed at extending the stay of guests and extending the tourist season throughout the year. The above is possible if interesting contents are offered throughout the year, with different themes and attractive locations are promoted for all ages.
Examples of good practice are the Underground Heritage Center - Speleon, Nikola Tesla Experience center, Cinema Edison, sports events such as WRC Croatia Rally and Quattro River Rally, Wine and Walk during the spring and autumn months and numerous other events.
