Plitvice is the world's most searched national park
The top 10 most beautiful National Parks in the world have been ranked with one Croatian park among them.
The study by the travel experts at Bounce analyzed the world’s national parks on their social media posts, Google searches and customer review data to reveal the world’s most beautiful national parks.
Plitvice Lakes National Park in Croatia ranked 5th on the list with a beauty score of 7.24.
When it came to the Google searches part of the ranking, no other park in the world was more popular than Plitvice Lakes which had over 2.1 million searches over the last 12 months.
With over 400,000 Instagram posts, Plitvice takes fifth spot for the factor and ranks seventh for TikTok views with 29.2 million. The park ranks highly for average Google reviews too, sharing third place for the factor with a score of 4.7 out of 5.
Overall, the no.1 ranked most beautiful National Park in the world is South Africa’s Kruger National Park with a beauty score of 8.29.
With over 900,000 Instagram posts, it takes the top spot for the factor and ranks second for both TikTok views and Google searches with 387.6 million and 1.8 million respectively. The park ranks highly for average Google reviews too, sharing third place for the factor with a score of 4.7 out of 5.
The world’s second most beautiful National Park is Brazil’s Lençóis Maranhenses National Park with a beauty score of 7.90. The third most beautiful National Park in the world is Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park on the island of East Java, Indonesia with a beauty score of 7.89.
