26th Autumn in Lika was held

From October 4 to 6, Gospić hosted the 26th Autumn in Lika, an event that celebrates the wealth and cultural heritage of the Lika region. This event brought together exhibitors from all over Croatia and neighboring countries, offering visitors the opportunity to explore the diverse range of local products.

At the stands, the Lika Quality sign, already recognizable to local visitors and guests, stood out in particular. Among the exhibitors were producers whose products bear the Lika Quality label, which guarantees top quality and authenticity: Family farm Vunena čarolija, L'vidis handcrafts, Medenko, Domestic handicraft Slavica Čorak, Family farm Svetić Marijana, Associoation Škrinjica Gospić, Domestic handicraft Jasna Buneta, Acrylic Design, Family farm Brkljačić, Family farm Bronzi Bee, Family farm Šop, Family farm Ivan Maras, Family farm Balenović, "Plitvička štrudla" cake production workshop, Family farm Vlainić Ivan, Association Divinum, Family farm Ajda, Agrovelebit i Pupilj j.d.o.o.. Visitors had the opportunity to try specialties such as local cheeses, honey and brandy, but also to enjoy a rich offer of handicrafts that maintain the tradition and culture of Lika.

Prime Minister Andrej Plenković also participated in the opening of the event, who noticed the growing number of exhibitors and emphasized that "Autumn in Lika" is a great event where we have the opportunity to see how beautiful Lika is when it comes to the efforts and work of local producers. He pointed out that producers are increasingly creatively portraying heritage, be it in agriculture, crafts or in various autochthonous products that are part of personal identity.

The event included various activities such as judging cheese, honey and brandy, as well as presentations of old crafts and ethnographic collections. Exhibitions of autochthonous animals, such as Lika pramenka sheep and bush cattle, further emphasized the importance of preserving our tradition.

Autumn in Lika is an important event for strengthening the community and stimulating the local economy. Manufacturers contribute to the development of the region with their work and dedication, making Lika a recognizable destination.
