Specialized conference "CLUSTERS - TOOLS FOR STRENGTHENING COMPETITIVENESS INTO THE SOUTHEASTERN EUROPE"
Specialized conference "Clusters – tools for strengthening competitiveness into the Southeastern Europe“ was held from 09.-11. April 2017 at the Sheraton Hotel in Dubrovnik (Mlini). The conference organizer, the Croatian Wood Cluster, has gathered more than a hundred experts from twelve countries. More than sixty international lecturers and panelists presented key topics in the field of competitiveness and business networking, including the President of the Lika Destination Cluster, Mr. Tomislav Kovačević, who presented the newly established Cluster Lika Destination. In numerous speeches, it has been highlighted that clusters need to encourage greater implementation of innovation, but also a completely new approach to education. The conference participants also highlighted a number of other topics in the field of cluster work, and the role of cluster-manager as one of the most important roles.
